The following data protection declaration applies to the use of the website. This website is an offer of the ZVEI – Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V. (German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association), Lyoner Strasse 9, 60528 Frankfurt, Germany (hereinafter: “ZVEI”).

  1. Collection and processing of voluntarily provided data

All data will only be processed on the basis of and within the scope of your consent.

If you provide us with personal data by e-mail and/or contact form (in particular name, e-mail address or telephone number), this is generally on a purely voluntary basis.

These data are used exclusively for specific purposes, such as the necessary communication, for processing your enquiries, processing the contractual relationship or your orders, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 a,b DSGVO. There will be no further use.

The passive use of our offer is anonymously possible.

Registration for events

If service providers are used in individual cases, we ensure through contracts and controls that the data security and data protection of the service providers are guaranteed.

Embedded YouTube-Videos

On some of our websites we embed YouTube videos. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operator of the corresponding plug-ins. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to Youtube servers is established. Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to reckon with such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the saving of cookies in your browser.

  1. No data transmission outside the EU / Secure data transmission

The data we collect is stored exclusively on servers in Germany. No data is transmitted to companies outside the European Union. This also applies to service providers commissioned by us to process data.

Your personal data is transmitted securely by encryption. This applies to the login and use of the portal. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system. No one can guarantee absolute protection.
